Easily into the dance.

This is the most talented team since we went to the sweet 16, maybe even more talented, may have to go back to the final four run.

Either way, CJJ is going to have exciting. Fast paced d, dunk city on o

My prediction of NIT is just as good as those who are predicting final four. Actually, based on where they are ranked currently, they look closer to a NIT team than they do final four team. They are going to be very good next season, but just because they had a good recruiting class doesn't mean they are final four bound this season. UK had a much better recruiting class last season and didn't even make the big dance. I hope LSU does make it to the final four, but I am also realistic. I'd say a NCAA bubble/NIT lock this year and next season they will be a solid NCAA tourn. team. Looking forward to seeing them play this season. It's great that there is some legit excitement about basketball again.

I don't think anyone was being serious when they predicted a Final Four.

SEC TOURNEY CHAMPS!!!! You heard it here first!!

I'd love to see it, but I still think UK is the SEC champ when it's all said and done. However, I don't think a second place finish is out of the realm of possibility. Fla. will always be really good as long as Billy D is there. Tenn. is very talented, but LSU gets them here in their one matchup. I don't know what to think about Mizzou. Could be really good, could be very avg. And I just don't see Bama being better than LSU.

EDT: I misread your post. SEC TOURNEY champs. Hell, why not. Our coach was on the only LSU team to win one.

39 Would be close, definately on the bubble, have to see the SOS, RPI, and conference finish. Definately not for sure in. The Old Spice Classic and UMass arehuge games for this team.

I hate this comparison. UK didn't do well last year because they didn't have veteran leadership and their best player got hurt halfway through the season.

Still have season tickets available in 313 and 321 which arent but $100 each and not bad seats. I think 8 or 9 rows up.

I hope the stadium is packed this year. Really excited. I've always said that being ranked in college basketball is the most important sport to be ranked in. There's too many teams to talk about everyone so news only talks about ranked teams.

Getting ranked will get exposure which is helpful in recruiting.

This.

We also have a very weak non-conference schedule, so quality wins will be hard to come by. We'll have to rely on high rankings and media exposure to get us a good seed in the dance.

eta. 3 ranked teams on our schedule. (#1 UK twice and #10 UF away)

We'll have a chance of 4-5 RPI 100 wins before conference play (Memphis, UMASS, Oklahoma State, NWSU, and possibly Rhode Island/Texas Tech)...

They're on the other side of the bracket. Assuming they take care of business, we'd play them in the finals. LINK
