Why I'll never go back to B&T's...

I ran by on Tuesday, and they were blaring Creed.
Creed. Seriously. I'm assuming Nickelback was next.
Plus, the place has had awful bands playing on Friday and Saturday all through football season and up until now for a while.
The last time I went and enjoyed myself was probably 2.5 or 3 years ago. Hasn't been the same since.
What gives?

Someone told me they went recently and the band playing was a hardcore screamo band 
.. that screamed dance music.

Not sure what they're trying to go for. Maybe they should stick to Zydeco music all the time.

Dear God, that place has just fallen to nothing.
I genuinely used to enjoy going there. Happy's, Lucy's, and B&T's was a great trio. I'm just so disappointed.
I'm wondering if it's new owners or management or something?

I liked the place about 5 years ago. Pretty laid back area upstairs and the balcony. Havent been in years.

Zydeco and Swamp Pop and Cajun music is what I used to LOVE about B&T's. I could dance all night there, and it was so fun. I see way too much Affliction and can't stand the music enough to even walk on that side of the street as I pass there anymore.

I have had ok times the last few times I was there. But they don't play zydeco anymore. Had a great band one time. But you're right about the Affliction crowd being there.

I guess I haven't even been able to make it upstairs due to the awful music downstairs lately.
I just don't know what they're going for. I was fine with the Affliction crowd staying at The Office and what is now 3rd Street Pub and City Bar. I want my good ole B&T's back.

If it was early on a Tuesday I can understand. On slow nights at the bar I worked at, we would play homo erotic music to scare people off so we could drink and play games.

That's what they may be trying to do, but it was the same ole crowd when I visited.
