The board is really split on those who want an OT, those who want a defensive player, those who want a WR/S and there's some who won't be happy unless we trade back.
Irregardless, about 60-70% of the board will be unhappy with the first pick no matter what we do.
Everyone will like our second pick and say we got a steal.

To be fair, don't most of the Saints late/later round drafts end up being 100% better than the 1-3 rd. range?

Very high because our fanbase has pretty much hated all of our first round picks since 2006.

Initially people will not feel right about our first pick. In about a month or so, everyone will be saying that the pick is starting to grow on them. Right before start of season, everyone will be saying this guy is going to be best pick of the draft and will play lights out. Finally, season will start and reality will set in. Pretty standard.
