Charcoal chimneys

Ironically, a chimney is far cheaper and the food tastes better.

I'll never use lighter fluid again.

Great thing to have. So simple.

Not simple to dump the coals into the pit though.

Don't attempt in flip-flops. Just a tip from your Uncle Wannabe.

I learned about these when I lived in southern Cali in the early 90s. Lighter fluid was verboten. Sometimes the guvment does know best....comrade.

If you're doing a long and slow cook, use the Minion Method so only need to light a few coals once in the beginning.
