Wrap bundles in bacon and pour brown sugar/ butter mixture over it. Bake until desired texture is achieved.

Steam to your desired texture and toss in brown butter and toasted almonds. Salt and white pepper to your taste. Throw in some crispy smoky crumbled bacon for a twist. A little lemon juice sprinkled on top if you want an acidic component.

Follow the cooked to death recipe but stop before they're dead?
Seriously, I do it the old fashioned way, but I leave them with some body in them. Bacon grease and the trinity, then the green beans and a little chicken stock. Cook until tender, but not limp. Sweet and delicious!
I also love crispy green beans. I eat those when I go to a Chinese food buffet. It gives me at least one healthy option.

Green beans chopped into 1-2 inch pieces, diced onions, diced tomatoes, chopped basil, bit of salt to taste. Simmer in water to cover all of the ingredients til done al dente on the beans, salt and pepper to taste.

i get a half pound of thick cut bacon from fresh market and a pound or two of green beans. I cut the bacon strips in half.
I wrap half a piece of bacon around 10-12 green beans and cook in the oven for 10-15 minutes. I like to flip them about half way so the bacon cooks evenly.
