Baseball is outdoors and in the middle of summer... It also tends to bring more families and a pool can keep little kids interests...

Huge difference IMO...

As long as they support the team, who cares? I mean have you even looked at the attendence ratings? I know the team will play better next year, but something else needs to be done to attract fans to the Arena.

I mean look in our own city. Zephyr Field has one and it seems to be pretty popular.

I got a guy at work to tell me that the Pelicans games will all be in summer, that we'll remove the roof of the Arena, and take out half the seats.

Easier to sell out that way.

Keeps getting better.

Are we really talking about there being a pool in the Arena in a serious manner because Souljah trolled and made up a story about how he's "hearing" there will be one?

There won't be a pool. Jesus.

We are talking about that ANS Benson giving out a million dollars at the game tonight AND reducing the seating capacity AND removing the roof AND playing all Pelicans games in Summer AND replacing the court with a pelican wing.

Quick question, 42. Will you have to have Club seats to reserve a place in the Honey Bee (or whatever they'll be called) private dance and steam room?

With the pool, no roof, and summer games, the entire arena will be a sauna. STH eill get discounts on their health insurance as a result. Total value of being a STH.

Marlins Park named it that after the famous South Beach location.

I guess the one in the Arena could be Pat O's Party Perch. That has a nice ring to it. I can hear Joel Meyers saying it now.

The Loge sections will be a hard sell. Will cost 25k just to rent them out and then 6k on all four seats. Also, businesses will be locked in for 3 years minimal.

Wow. Very surprised with those prices considering this season's attendence figures. I wonder what makes the brass so confident in attracting more fans.

The company will have its signage up on the boxes year round. More exposure during non-Pelican events.

Not sure who your source is on the Pelican wing/court replacement, but I hope the league allows it. Boston's court would have nothing on a pelican wing, instant landmark.

A rep said the Party Perch will basically be like the hub club without the catered food. It'll be a little more open, like through a larger-than-normal vom, which will make it a little easier to mill about during the game.

The bandstand thing will be on the second level of it.

The bar in the area and the socializing aspect is why those seats will cost more than those around it, clearly.
