I used to like George's when I was there

When I was a kid, my dad would take me to Chelsea's in it's old location and I thought I was so cool because it was filled with college students and always had a band setting up. The new location of Chelsea's under the overpass isn't as "dive"-y (it actually feels clean and looks good), but I'd still consider it the best local food a student can get.
I say it here all the time. (Bistro Byronz being 2nd runner up, and not close to campus)
Chelsea's has a menu different than any other casual restaurant in the city. You don't feel like you're eating the same shite like you do at Chimes/Sammys/Walkons/Brewbachers/Georges/etc.
My other answer would be Caterie if it were still here. Used to love my once/twice a week lunches there. Food wasn't outstanding, but the food for the price was.

Faculty Club
Since not working on campus anymore, I completely forgot about this place until the other day. I've got to make it over there and eat one day soon.
EDIT: Wow, just Googled and saw it recently changed to "The Club at Union Square"
With that new bookstore, it won't be as much of a hidden gem that faculty and alumni frequent. Sad.

I used to enjoy Brew Bachers, but that place has been blegh as of late. I get something as simple as a Chicken Club sandwich and it tastes simply like chicken and bread. Granted, I know those are most of the ingredients on a Chicken Club, but it tastes light years better at WalkOns (which is scary) because they use a flavorful sweet bun, they blacken the chicken, use pepper jack cheese, etc.
Odd thing is I loved BrewBachers a couple years ago. I wonder if they changed stuff up for the worst. Their fries used to be my obsession, and I've noticed they're different too.
