I can understand and appreciate that. My sxs was $1500 more than the replacement 4 wheeler I was planning on getting (550 sportsman)
Yeah I mean I'd love to have one, but I'd also love to have a Barrett .50 cal.

Yep.
I looked into them after I saw a really cool one in the Slidell mall.
13K-6 month warranty.
KMA.

Got a 2010 polaris rzr myself.. Limited edition with just about every accessory you can add... It just sits in my garage with 600 miles on it. Im about to sell it. So make sure you will get your 15-20k worth out of it. I put 18.5 in this one and crunk it up one time last yr. Just no time to ride it.

Thats my other problem too, I dont wanna dish out that kind of cash for a SxS and only actually use it 2 or 3 times a year. I can spend 5-7k on a 4wheeler and be satisfied with myself if I only use it a hand full of times.

Can-am side by sides are nowhere near worth the money unless performace is much more important than reliability to you.
Both of the ones I have experience with were very fast and very powerful and will go to the shop at least 4 times a year. No bullshite. The electronics on them are junk.

no offense to any of you that own some of these big UTV's with this, but there are some guys at our camp with them and I just don't get it. They are too big to get into the woods in. For 18 g's I could buy a brand new 4 wheeler and carry it around in used std. cab tacoma.

You realize you can get a 500 Ranger for less than $8K right? As far as getting around the woods I take my Ranger trail riding a lot. In thick woods you do have to watch where you're going. But I can count on one hand how many times I've had to back out of somewhere Bc of not being able to fit

I had a Can Am Commander 1000. Had more power than you could ever need. The only problem is for what I use one for which is hunting and yard duty it wasn't a good fit. I had a Rhino before it and only kept the Can Am for 6 months. Sold it and bought a Ranger with power steering and absolutely love it.
