all they do is hide and permission protect the board. If you start playing with your URL you'll find some hidden boards on here.

Anyone not putting Auburn on the BOTTOM of any list of coaching fills has NO IDEA what they are talking about.

Auburn hired A high school level coach. Good luck with that.

You people are just dumb, stoops is about a 9 on a 10 scale for Kentucky.

Ark got about a 7

Ut 6

Aub 6

These ratings are based on what their school did compared to what they could do. Ky got almost the best guy they could, etc

You realize that CBB is already working to flip Tenpenny, right? He doesn't seem to have any problem at all in SEC style recruiting. It is obvious that some of you are either too shocked at Arkansas's hire to admit exactly how good it is (how many other coaches got hired that have led teams to multiple BCS bowls?) or just know nothing about football.

Right out of the gate it's:

1. Arkansas (and if you don't agree with that it's a good indication of the weight that should be given to anything you post).
2. Tennessee
3. Auburn
4. Kentucky (Though really about as good as they could do).

Tennessee and Auburn are almost a toss-up. Neither has hired a proven commodity. I'm giving Tennessee the two spot because Jones has more experience. Malzahn possibly has more potential. It will be interesting if he can make it work there.

Arkansas is the real winner here. Not just because they made the best hire, but if Malzahn turns out to be great and CBB is a bust at Arkansas (I doubt that seriously though) we can just go get Gus. He'll come.

John L Smith was a B1G coach also. Saban never finished 50th in recruiting at Mich St.

I think the Wisconsin coach is a decent hire, but he isn't Saban. Don't even go there!

They are not relative rankings. They are based on who hired the best coach, not who hired the best coach they could.

And by outsider, you mean someone who doesn't follow college football?

I was "meh" on the hire to begin with. But I am absolutely loving every move he has made so far. We said we wanted to clean house, and he is doing exactly that. Telling Jackson and Bolt to kick rocks is something I didn't think I'd ever see. Gus has shown in just a couple short days that this is his program, and will be run the way he sees fit.

Gus is a good coach and you will continue to be impressed by him. FYI - His wife is bat shite crazy. Terrifying in some respects.
