Does LSU finish ahead of a 1 loss ND team assuming they are the only team ahead of us that drops a game?"

When ALA loses they will probably still be ranked #2, so probably not

Polls seem to change quite a bit after bowl season. If we play well, I think we will get quite a bump in the polls.

Yes, how could it not be?

4 plays 5 so that will be a loss. If Wisconsin plays like they did on Saturday they could certainly beat Stanford. UGA could lose to Nebraska if they don't get motivated to play. Also if LSU wins there will be some clout behind thier win given that they are playing #13. Wisconsin is unranked and Nebraska was 13 before they lost. Don't know where they were after the loss.

After Bama beats ND, Florida Louisville, and LSU wins, I expect the tigers to be #5 in the BCS with only losses to numbers 1 & 2. Pretty impressive when you put it into perspective.

Not likely. Upsets would be needed. Big ones.

Bama, Oregon, and Florida should easily win their bowls.

ND would not likely drop out of the top 5.

LSU would need KState, Stanford and UGA to lose. And keep Johnny Football from jumping LSU.

Do you really think a 1-loss Notre Dame team should drop below a 2-loss LSU team?

It depends on the score. If Bama destroys them, I could see them falling below us.

I can't see them falling below us even if Bama beats 'em by 2 touchdowns. Of course, that's only my opinon. And I'll go out on a limb and say Bama will win by 10 pts. and Notre Dame will stay in the top 5 after all is said and done.
Go Bama.. Go SEC... Go LSU..

We are 7 in Coaches', and 9 in AP, so clearly the Coaches' is our best shot. I think we would only jump the Fiesta Bowl loser. The only way to get to the top 5 would be for several unlikely upsets, like Florida or Georgia and also hope we don't get jumped by A&M and possibly Stanford, although Stanford jumping up would seem unlikely since they're playing an unranked team. But, you can't bring too much reason in.

ND won't drop out of the top 5 no matter what.

and what do you consider "big"? Because it would have to be like 77 to 0 for ND to fall from the top 5.

Disagree, at least there is no precident for it to happen. When, at least in the BCS era has a previously undefeated team who lost big in the championship ever fallen even close to the top 5?

The only real examples are 2011 when LSU fell to 2 an in 2004 when OU fell to 3, with undefeated Auburn. In 2004 OU beat exactly 2 teams that finished in the top 25. ND already has that beat.
