Is it just me, or is Gene Hackman in 95% of all Westerns ever made?

The Quick and the Dead is surprisingly good.
What Kafka said. I'm pretty sure The Conversation is on Netflix too. The Conversation
His role in Enemy of the State was sort of a reprisal of his role in The Conversation. You'll like it. Also includes John Cazale (Fredo from The Godfather). Harrison Ford, Terri Garr and Cindy Williams in smaller roles.

As well as Robert Duvall
FWIW it's Hackman's own favorite of his films.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Bonnie and Clyde yet. Bonnie and Clyde is easily my favorite Gene Hackman film and it was his breakout role. Great movie, great performance by Hackman, and Faye Dunaway has never looked better on film.

Thought he was good in The Poseidon Adventure as well.
