I really like Val's Marina in Maurepas...
Old school fried seafood joint. Very laid back atmosphere and better fried seafood than anywhere in BR (IMO)

Only problem is, I think they took some water during Isaac and I'm not sure if they are back open.

Latil's Landing at the Houmas House. Great time of the year to go with the cooler temps you could go early and spend some time walking their beautiful grounds. The food and atmosphere is really nice, but it is kind of spendy though.

+1 for high end.

Also check out Hilltop, Kevin's and Saritas, all on the Diversion Canal.

You won't be disappointed. You can thank me later ;). Oh, and leave room for the white chocolate bread pudding. I know, I know, I don't usually eat bread pudding either, but this one is phenomenal!! Reservations recommended.

awesome response. Just the basic cut and paste answer on td for a multitude of "favorite" threads no matter what the subject.
