Man, everyone's really busting out on these new teams

I don't know why we didn't try to keep Dunbar

He is a good LB. Sprag missed it on him.

It's easy to say it now, but we forget that we signed Chamberlian who's a versatile linebacker like Dunbar.

not really easy to say now, I didn't want the Saints to let him leave in the first place

Well after signing Hawthorne, Chamberlian and Lofton, how can you really complain? Where was he gonna fit in exactly?

Should have kept Dunbar over signing Chamberlain.

Chamberlain was playing really good before the injury. I think he would have made a difference if healthy.

I will take a healthy Chamebrlain over Dunbar any day. At times Dubar showed his youth and immaturity in over pursuing and poor tackling. He's a glorified special teamer who is having a decent season.

Is that because everyone who plays starts out on special teams stays there their whole career. He had a real good season with us last year when he was starting also. He becoming a solid player no matter what any of us think.

You're forgetting about Chris Chamberlain's injury, but it looks like others in the thread haven't. It's easy to miss a player if the one signed in his place gets hurt.

he may do well but don't think he could be considered a whiff by letting go. He showed a little flash here but less than what I would expect out of Hawthorne from previous resume. His role was primarily backing up MLB also. Signing Lofton along with still having Vilma prolly gave him no incentive to stay either.

I'm not saying we're lost without him. Just thought it was funny another player we let go is doing well on their new team.

reggie will prolly lead the league in rushing the way ex-saints have been playing...and having Vilma and Lofton made Dunbar expendable, but woulda been nice to still have now, seeing the circumstances
