I just found out yesterday that AT&T Uverse will be getting CST, COX Sports Television in January 2013! Just though I would let you guys know. I'm very excited! Since I changed to Uverse I have really been missing CST. GEAUX TIGERS!

Edited by Admin: this is a false rumor. CST not in any talks with AT&T.

aside from the occasional LSU baseball game and the Hornets CST sucks arse. Now, they've even lost the Hornets so that channel is worthless

if this turns out to be true, I'll be switching from Cox to ATT Uverse in January. But I want proof first. You sure this wasn't just some sales lady telling you what you want to hear? Because everytime they try to sell Uverse to me, I ask them if they have CST, and the standard asnwer is always something like "we are getting it soon"

If you have CST in Texas, do you still get CST?

About 10-15 times per year I want to have CST, and those 10-15 times...I'm glad I do. Not having CST was a major drawback for me when I had Uverse. I will switch back over when they get it.

You better hope U-Verse gets FoxSports Louisiana. The rumor du jour here is that Cox is getting out of the Sports Broadcasting business.

FoxSports won the rights to the Hornets games. They'll be broadcasting 76 of their 82 games locally and I believe Cox is dumping their LSU and local sports programming to what will soon be FoxSports Louisiana.

Call your cable provider now! It'd suck if all you got was the Cox HS Game of the week and the State HS Volleyball Tournament.

It sucks that they dont have CST but it has saved me almost 50 bucks a month by switching from Cox to Uverse.

To the person looking for proof of cst to uverse I dont have a link but my father in law is very high in the ATT corp ladder and he assured me "off the record" about two months ago that cst would def be available somewhat soon.

The FoxSports Louisiana part? I doubt it because they won the Hornets contract. If that's the case, a huge section of CST's programming and meal-ticket went with that ability to show local sports programming.

The only way I see CST making it is by doubling down on HS & collegiate athletics offerings and programming in-state. Their production quality is really poor IMO. Their standards in that department make it look like their heart's not in it.

yeah from what I heard losing the Hornets really hurt their ability to show baseball games. Despite what some here think broadcasting baseball games isn't exactly the most profitable venture

Well, according to my sources within Cox Sports Television, reports that the network will be on the AT&T Uverse channel line-up in January are false. CST and AT&T have had no recent conversations about carriage of the network.
