Both secondaries are sick. Just about all of them will play on sundays.

If we had switched schedules with Alabama we would have the top ranked defense.

Bama's defense and secondary have given up less yards and touchdowns against common opponents. The difference is very little but to say either defense is far and away better is crazy. They are almost mirror images of each other the way they cover and attack the ball. Dre and Mo could be the same kid. Tyran is one of the best Ive ever seen and way better than Menzie. But Barron is as good a safety as there has been in the last 15 years. Jan 9th will be epic.I'm honored and privileged to be a fan of one of these amazing teams. The atmosphere and excitement I expect to experence in New Orleans will be something I'll remember forever. Win or Lose. Roll Tide! Geaux Tigers!

LSU has allowed 67 points in SEC play. Exactly the same as Alabama. And LSU has now beaten Alabama two years in a row, with a lot of the same players on both sides.
The statistical difference between these defenses, especially scoring defense, is directly related to the inferior schedule Alabama has faced relative to LSU.
Period, end of discussion.
