Bama's defense and secondary have given up less yards and touchdowns against common opponents. The difference is very little but to say either defense is far and away better is crazy. They are almost mirror images of each other the way they cover and attack the ball. Dre and Mo could be the same kid...

Any thing or any stat that happened during the game is completely irrelevant. When I looked in disbelief at the scoreboard at the end of over time that taught me all I needed to learn. One team won and one lost. PERIOD!! It sucks and is totally unfair that the braggin rights for the game of the cent...

Bowls then were not part of the regular season and did not count towards final standings. Just a reward for players and coaches. So after winning the National championship in 1973 Bama then went on to lose to Notre Dame in what was basically an exhibition game. Roll Tide...
