So Im looking at the talent LSU put out there this year and was wandering just how good this coaching staff does with the student athletes coach Miles gets every year OR does the recruiting gurus really have any idea what there talking about? Here is a list of the kids that started saturday and when they signed with LSU what type of "star" they were listed as when they signed. I added a little input to what I think about each player.

russell shepard 5 star - still underused. Very important to this offense.
Joseph Barksdale 4 star - solid 4 star.
Josh Dworaczyk 4 star - solid 4 star
p.j. Longeran 3 star - split time with t-bob
t-bob hebert 4 star - expected more from him
chris faulk 4 star - gonna be good
deangelo peterson 4 star- w/o playing T.E.
Terrence Toliver 5 star- still, lots of drops, but seems to come up with the big catch.
reuben Randle 5 star- would flourish at a school that passes a lot.
Jordan Jefferson 4 star - not a 4 star, but god I would love to see him have a great year next year.
steven ridley 4 star - heart, heart , heart
james stampley NR - beast of a blocker

ken adams 3 star j.c. lineman that has started since day 1.
Pep livingston 3 star often injured but plays hurt
Drake Nevis 4 star - dont quit, undersized, not big enough, but gonna be all conference this year.
Lavar edwards 3 star - hopefully coming to is own
stefoin francois 4 star - hitting machine
Kelvin Shepard - 3 star - les found a diamond in the rough. Leader of this team !
Ryan baker 4 star - hell of a player
morris claibourn 3 star - another hell of a player
tyrann mathieu - 4 star - got that extra star after some impressive camps. future is so bright !
eric reid 4 star-- starter for years to come
patrick peterson 5 star nuff said
Karnell hatcher 4 star - late bloomer

josh jasper 3 star -- possibly MVP

Kelvin Shepard reminds me of Jacob hester. Not much hype when he came out , but tons of it when he leaves here ! IM very excited about the future of this program next year an cant wait to see them in the national championship in New Orleans next year !!! GEAUX TIGERS !!!

So many experts like Bill King, Paul Finebaum and Phil Steele were counting on him to fail this year. It's rare that you see a public figure with so many critics actually prove them wrong and leave them wallowing their own slop.

I don't know how Les Miles was able to put up with the kind of shite that was said about him and his wife in the media and especially on this board. What patience! What character! I love to see a good man prevail!

If Michigan offers him the job I wouldn't blame him for taking it.
