unusual lsu history

lsu played at miami in '58, '63, '65, '68, '69. they also played against colorado in the orange bowl in '61 and nebraska in '70.

5 times in 11 years against the canes in miami plus the bowl games. 7 times in 12 years. i'm surprised i've never heard this discussed. i can't say that i recall an eastern team playing a non conference road game that far away that many times in such a short span.

you would think lsu fans got sick of the place but then again, it is miami.

just discovered lsu also played pn st in miami in '73

I think it's interesting that General Sherman is LSU.

No idea. Something about the Orange Bowl and LSU going a lot? I just thought it was fitting to add Sherman.
