Okay you people have come through for me with San Francisco and D.C. Now I need Boston restaurant recs. We'll be staying at the Sheraton (convention center area). Relaxed atmospheres preferred.

606 Congress at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel. Ask for Chef Dutson and tell him Big Al sent you.

We stayed in the Back Bay, Copley Placea area and the best place for us was Atlantic Fish Co. Legal Seafood was decent, they are all over the city and, if you want pizza one day, try UNO, we thought it was very good.

We did go to the North End one day and thought that we would be smart ask a group of about ten "Tony Danzas" which place is the "best" since we never get to come here? The one they told us didn't even compare to Carraba's, and we have eaten at a lot of Italian places...maybe it was just a bad day...

quote:

Atlantic Fish Co

I just looked at their menu online. They have the name of the fish then "North Atlantic", "South Atlantic", "Pacific", etc. Next to catfish it says "Mississippi."
