Lamo stop it, no he won't. Brennan will not play another snap at LSU. He is moved on and so will LSU.

Thanks for coming and being loyal but it's best for him and LSU that he move on. No reason to hold up the future for him.

I know the Brennan fanbois will downvote but thankfully you idiots have no say over this

It was reported earlier this afternoon that Coach Kelly has already been in contact with Brennan and Boutte. Maybe we aren't the idiots........

I might get DV to hell for this, but I think Brennan should try to go to Ole Miss next year. He's not exceptionally mobile, but I think he and Kiffin could do wonders together.

You realize that Brennan likely has two years of eligibility left?

Johnson (4 to play 3) Nuss (4-4) and Howard (5-4) behind him.

You aren’t getting Brennan back without losing 1 or possibly 2 already on the roster. He’s not worth it.

Glad you did not say that when we brought Joe Burrow and all QBs left except Brennan.

Kiner and Emery would be one hell of a 1-2 punch

Emery put himself in those positions. Stop with the sympathy.

I get your cynicism, but the guy who said it seems to legit know Brennan and said Kelly reached out to him to recruit him back to the team. Kelly said he and Boutte were going to be some of the core leaders on the team.

It is 100% true. Keep in mind college kids say dumb shite so I’m not claiming he will actually do it.

Great, he sounded like he knew Brennan, it's an anonymous message board. Anyone can sound like they know anything.

Brennan is not worth all this, Max isn't either but LSU has lots of talent in yhe qb room, sorry but Brennan would just hold back progress at this point.

How quickly we forget how bad Brennans pocket awareness was and how he held the ball too long on many throws also.

But the guy nit playing is always the best option.

2022 is Emery’s year! Been saying it for three years so I’ve got one more shot. Come on, John!

Max is top 5 in the conference across the board as a true Sophomore in his first season as a starter. He needs some development, but good lord, I don’t get the Max hate.

I don't hate Max at all and think with a proper offense, better line and coaching he can excel.

I also believe Brennan is a good qb but it's time to move on and let the future take hold whether it be Max, Nuss or Howard.

Brennan would be better going to a team with an established offense where he can step in and show what he has.

He throws too hard and too high for starters, but that can be fixed with proper coaching. Jamarcus Russell had the same problem.

Brennan is not worth all this

Your opinion of Brennan and the state of the LSU QB room is irrelevant. Brian Kelly supposedly reached out to Brennan and Boutte to "To appeal to his best QB and best WR to both stay and be the nucleus of his offense. Boutte is not in the portal BK just talked to them both as leaders he would like to have on his team."

You don't have to believe the guy, but we'll find out the truth soon enough. I imagine if Kelly really did reach out to Brennan with that sort of sales pitch, it's going to be hard for Brennan to say no.
