Yep, and if he’s sincerely 100% certain Jimbo won’t become LSU’s coach, he’d have no problem or hesitations accepting that bet.

I attended the 1989 LSU A&M game and I wore aggie gear and nobody talked to me this way. Had a great time. I'm a little surprised.

No, people are telling you that your bet is silly and doesn’t at all prove your point (your point being you’re certain Jimbo won’t be LSU’s next coach and so certain that you’re willing to put money on it)
If you really want to show your confidence and certainty, offer a bet where we only have to put up $5 to your $500, then we’re talkin. You should have no problem with that kind of bet if you’re 100% certain he won’t be LSU’s next coach, it would be a free $5 for you. That’s the kind of bet that proves your point.

I belong to 3 LSU pay boards.
I have also been here for many years and was reading it daily long before I signed up so I could post a reply rarely.
This site is one of the largest and famous and well run free college sports boards in the country. It is also well known that even if you are an LSU fan you will get your head torn off here for any mistake you make or if anyone just disagrees.
Yes everyone who visits Tiger Stadium is surprised by the hospitality of the fans and especially by the enormous number of fans who are tailgating.
Don’t however be surprised by being viciously attacked here.
Aggie boards are vicious also and I’ve read every insult one can imagine towards LSU, Texas and few other favorites you guys have.
Several LSU insiders with great track records on the pay boards I belong to believe it will be Jimbo. Most of the responses to them have been to express disappointment in that.
I will take the $500 bet if you give the same odds I can get in Vegas.

None of them know a damn thing but Jimbo is the most logical bc of the prior relationship so all the 'insider parrots' are chirping about Jimbo. Woodward has this thing buttoned up tight and no one but him and Tate know what he's thinking.
Coaches at other programs that I know can usually tell me what to expect by what they hear in the coaching circle gossip and that is dry as well.
Tip of the hat to Mr Woodward for knowing how to keep his mouth shut.
