After our 4th child, I went through the whole consult process and ultimately decided “no” after reading through online support groups for “Post Vasectomy Pain Syndrome.” Glad I chose to preserve the hardware.
Now, every time we go through a dry spell, I know I’d be pissed if I got the snip and was still doing without.
Never had any pressure from the wife, fwiw

I was considering a vasectomy, but the hospitals have been rationing MAJOR surgeries because of COVID…. ;)

ETA: if you don’t want anymore kids I don’t see what the big deal is. Are you just a pussy? I know someone who was in your boat, had 2 kids, didn’t plan to have anymore but was anti-vasectomy. They had an unplanned child a few years later, and then unplanned twins a year after that. So he went from having 2 kids to 5, because he was too scared to get a vasectomy.

I love my adult children and I will love my grandchildren. (If I have them)
I wish I had gotten a vasectomy 15 years earlier. Blanks are the best when you know that you will be a responsible and committed father.

Tell her to get the ring. Takes 10 minutes for the OB (non surgery) and lasts 5-7 years. Insurance pays for it
