So, it’s three guys who have had success in big time college football and a guy who hasn’t sniffed success in big-time college football??? That makes sense……..NOT!

Scott wants to see how the next few weeks shake up as Penn St. runs their gauntlet of a schedule. If Franklin can go 3-1 or lose closely and go 2-2, he may get the LSU job.
That is absurd. All this would do is drive his price tag up, not make him a better coach.

Yet Napier at ULL is.
You have a point,

If you like the coach you like the coach. I don't believe this.

Franklin is a damn good coach, I don’t think his personality fits here though

I don't see Mel Tucker's name. Thus, I rejoice. I want to believe.

Oklahoma will be in the sec soon. I’m guessing he’d like to be coaching at lsu rather than Oklahoma when that happens.

The way this reads is basically everything the rant has been saying. Not a very good troll attempt. Try harder.

So no love for Croom
I can dig it. Being HC at LSU is a guaranteed national championship. Would be fun to rehab shitty MS coaches, get them a ring, then can their asses.
O
Croom
Freeze
Nutt
By then a new crop can be harvested.

Also note, Scott isn’t convinced Aranda is ready for a big jump to a program like LSU
And Napier is?
If he's the best that LSU can do, I will be very disappointed in Woodward. The only way that Napier should sniff the job is if everybody else turns us down. If Napier is hired, LSU will be looking for a new HC in 3 years, and not because he left us for a better gig.

The dude is pretty ingrained to OU, I’m just not even going to bother pretending he’s a remote possibility.

Yup. Highly doubt we hire any of the 4 coaches listed. Feel like Woodward is going for a bigger hire.

I think he's telling people stuff, but its all smoke screens. I expect only like 3 people know woodward's no 1 option. Woodward being one of the three.
We can start scratching off names at the end of the season, until then I don't believe anything posted here. And would also wager money none of these 4 coach LSU

My hope is that LSU will be emboldened enough to roll the dice on Napier because greatness is often achieved by welcoming unforseen risks with open arms.
Sometimes you have to gamble to reach your true potential, and I believe the union of Napier with LSU is prime breeding grounds for that harvest.
I'm just wondering if Woodward would be ballsy enough to take on this risk? For whatever reason, I think Napier makes us national contenders year in and year out, and resurrects LSU football as a nationally respected powerhouse- something we're eagerly awaiting to clutch in dominating form after all these years of being on the brink of greatness.
