I can add these too. I think there were some decent movies in the early 00s but they've been mostly shite for a decade or longer maybe you'll get a decent movie every few years. Same with TV shows, for every Yellowstone that comes along there is years of shite.

The last movie I saw in theaters was the Last Jedi which was the worst piece of shite I’ve ever seen so even before Covid started I was done seeing movies in theaters.

To those who say they don’t go to movies in theatres anymore, highly recommend going to see The Rescue if it’s coming out near you. I believe it releases Oct. 8. Made by the same guy who made Free Solo. Free Solo and Meru are also excellent examples of amazing movies being made right now, also!
