Pros

Home opener

Beautiful weather

An in state opponent that is close and travels well

We should see a packed house

Cons

We looked like shite last week

People are losing faith in O (if they had any)

The restrictions are, well, restrictive

McNeese also lost

Hurricane Ida hit some quite hard, obviously making LSU football a less prioritized event

The Woketopia desired by JBE and and President CRT (real or imagined) is an issue for some

Will all take a toll on attendance

My guess:

83,000

And it will go even further down next week.

By the time we play ULM, attendance that day may not top 50,000.

Peace my peeps and Geaux Tigers!

when the cameras pan the crowd tonight, don't be shocked when it looks incredibly thin.

Actual attendance will be 68,000. It will look empty on the broadcast and the announcers will mention it

I think 80k is an extremely high estimate. All things considered I’m going to guess 40-60k with 35 or less actually staying the entire game.

I was thinking 60s.
LSU has shat on fans with their assinine policies and their poor productivity on the field.

How anyone can get excited any longer is beyond me.

That might the official attendance figure (tickets sold), but how many will actually be in the stands - 60,000?

That’s extremely optimistic. At peak capacity it will be around 55k. Maybe less if the students just stay outside partying. By the 4th quarter it will be around 25k and will be sad.

Agree with most posters in the thread.

No way there are actually 70k in the seats.

50-60's more likely.
