What is the OT's thoughts on a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon? I went to the dealership last week to look at a truck with my son and they were all over me to trade in my GMC Sierra. This red Jeep Gladiator caught my eye but I am wary of the reliability. This particular vehicle is a 2020 with 24,000 miles.

I had a 2021 80th Anniversary with Overland trim.

Loved it. absolutely loved it.

Had to sell it because we needed a third row because of a new, unexpected, addition.

If you want a truck then get a real truck

If you want a jeep then get a real wrangler

The Gladiator is the worst of both worlds

Are you transitioning into a lesbian? I actually like it. I could do without the big Rubicon sticker in the front.

2013 JKU with 140k miles, replaced the clutch at 126k.
Reliability doesn't seem too bad to me.

I like them but I want a midsized truck with bed cap so I don't have to drive my 1 ton everywhere. Seems kinda pointless to put a cap on a gladiator

If you want the best of both worlds, yes buy it . But if you are going to use it as a truck hauling heavy things, then don't. I love them. I friends love them. But, I'm a jeep guy

Jeep owners always make me laugh and I think what you posted is hideous. That’s all I got for you bub

I have a 10 year old Jeep with 93k miles and the only issue that I’ve had was self inflicted.

I am the parts manager at a Jeep dealership. The JT’s are solid vehicles. I am personally not a fan, that’s just my preference, but they are good vehicles.

I'm on my second Wrangler. I drove the first one to 170K miles and had no problems other than air conditioning and alternator fixes at about 130K miles. I've been happy with Jeep.

Does it have the diesel engine? If not, hold out until you find one that does.

I love Jeeps and currently own 2 wranglers. I would NEVER however own one as a primary vehicle. You will hate going from a truck to a jeep. I drove a 4 door wrangler from Prairieville to Universal Studios in Florida and back and it sucked. They are strictly a weekend, cruising around town vehicle. Just my Dos Centavos.
