I posted yesterday about EBAY. I need to make some money, but honestly dont have anytime to have a job. I am about to quit my current job. Im a freshman in College. I was working 30 hours a week and having to pay half of my apartment, half of my electricity, half of my insurance, all of my cell phone, all of my gas (Toyota Tundra - $80 to fill up), and I have an expensive girlfriend. As you can see, I need some money. I need some advice on what to do. I am taking 16 hours of classes, I play rugby, and am very involved. I am willing to work somewhere if its a good offer. Please give me some suggestions. Thanks

Sell the tundra, buy a used small japanese car that gets 35 miles/gallon. You make money from the truck sale and save on gas as well.

Tell the girl to quit wasting your damn cash, cook instead of eating out, you will save a ton. When I am in a workout mode (usually about a month or so at a time) I don't drink beer much and that also saves money.
Your best option is to just learn how to cook, my roommate doesn't cook, takes his girl out to eat every other day and lays $150-250 a WEEK on food. That kinda of crap doesn't fly with me.

Quit rugby and get a job.
What is with you stupid kids these days? I never took less than 18 hours of classes and I always had a job.

leave the car at home and drop the girl
you don't really need a car in college, especially if you don't have a job.

Buy a bike. If you live w/i 3-4 miles of campus, you can bike to class w/o a sweat.
Do less things with ya girl. Or look at cheaper shite to do

Wait tables and work longer hours.

1. If you hold the title to the Tundra, sell it unless you absolutly need the truck to haul. And don't just go buy a car for the same price, cut back and pay cash for a car that is less in value than your tundra. Your overhead expenses for your vehicle will decrease.
2. Get a job. On campus or nearby. Having the extra couple of hundred a week will help.
3. Drop the gf if she can't understand that you can't spend as much on her. It won't work out in the long run if this is the case.
4. Cut back on your utilties, turn your AC up, if you have digital cable, cancel the service. If your neighbor has a wireless signal thats unsecured, get rid of your internet.
4. Get a prepaid cell phone. Or at least take advantage of the LSU discounts that ATT offers.

I don't think these were the kinds of responses he was hoping for.

Probably not but he wants to make money without having to work a lot...only way to do that is steal, risk what you have in an investment, or cut costs.

No offense to him, but he's a freshman and most are not the best with time management. Myself included.
I slept as much as I could, and layed around and watched reruns of sportscenter...

I am not the smartest kid in the world. School doesnt come to me easy. I have to study hours and hours for a normal bio test. All my classes start at 7. When I was working (which I still currently have that job) I didnt get to bed till 2 AM or 3 AM on average. I get no sleep. I scheduled classes so early so I COULD work more. It's just not working out.
I play rugby for three reasons:
1. It keeps me healthy and in good shape.
2. It helps me meet alot of new people, and it is so much fun.
3. It helps relieve alot of stress. I've been playing for several years, I dont want to quit now.

You can work doubles on Saturday and Sunday probably. Then just work a few night shifts. That should give you enough time to study.
Glad to hear some kids actually still work in college!

So you are saying rugby is more important than money. That's fine but quit your bitching.
