Hey It happen at times to decommit..

But It seems to be a trend, Maybe a Chance to to be in the LSU Program and get Scholarship does hold the weight it should hold If it can be given up so easily.

If playing Football at LSU is valuable , I feel it should be offefed to those who are serious and appreciate it.

And don't say it happens everywhere , Because LSU should't be put in that category. (a Also Ran) We want to win Championships , and you do that with Men not over hype kids , who can't make there mind up on a school or playing social media games.

As the prior post shows, it's easier to get a higher class ranking by not using Clemson's unorhodox recruiting policy. If it were an actual advantage, other teams would adopt it. The number of decommitments has nothing to do with how many times Clemson has recently made the playoffs. It does however decrease the amount of time and effort the Clemson coaching staff need to spend on recruiting.

Does that 60 number include kids who decommitted then signed with us like Myles Brennan? How many from the 2017 and 2018 classes?

NIL will be a disaster. All across the board.

Here's what you don't seem to be understanding. Not all decomitments are the player giving us the boot (making us an also ran). Without looking at the list of 60, I would guess more were guys we either told to look elsewhere or were replaced with players of equal quality than guys who we really wanted that went elsewhere.

Also, how many of the 60 were guys that ended up at LSU? I'll guess it's close to 10.

Like I said, it's a meaningless stat that lacks context and has zero to do with the stability of the program. There are plenty of things to criticize Orgeron about, but this certainly isn't one of them. We always wished Miles would be more cut throat with processing recruits. Well, decomitments is the product of that.

This is an example like in a football game someone looks at stats but not the context to those stats. There's a lot more to decommits than just LSU "losing" them.
