45% is total US population, not just adults. Over 30 has reached 70% I believe, with over 18s being a few percent back. But maybe I'm confusing one dosers with two dosers.
Anyway, I agree with the sentiment. There's the percentage and then there is the political win that ending all masks and tests represents, with cover your arse as well. Constant push/pull.
Maybe tied with masking on planes whenever that ends. I could see those two requirements falling at the same time.
