If you threw a duck with the arrow tail, you messed up big time.

Imagine if Vick went to a better coach and organization than what the Falcons had to offer.

That wasn't an issue in 2001. Dan Reeves was a great coach. The issue for Vick was that the NFL in general tried to force every QB into a "pro style" instead of molding an offense around their talents. Even Andy Reid did this with McNabb.

Michael Vick should have taken 90+% of his snaps out of the shotgun. He should have never been playing in the I formation. NFL offensive coaching has become so much more innovative over the last 15 years that Vick would be ungodly if he came into the league today.

He’d be a straight dog in today’s offenses.

Not sure the prettiest but I’ve never seen Warren Moon not throw a spiral.

Reading thread title, Warren Moon came to mind, and Dan Marino.

He had just as many ducks as anyone else as I remember. Hell, I remember him tomahawk chopping quite a few under Meyer - as good as his footwork was under Ed Zaunbrecher, he could never replicate it under Meyer's spread. His brain was too slow to move from pass-run-pass on the fly.

Great example of a guy who didn't have a rocket arm but mostly made up for it with an incredibly quick, efficient, and powerful delivery. And yes, when he did throw a spiral it was a gorgeous one.

Tua Tagovailoa. Nothing so pretty than a lefty who can spin it.

To be fair, it’s pretty hard to throw a duck when your passes average < 5 yds in the air

Pretty sure that would be your last intention here, to be fair. Let's ask Georgia and LSU's DBs what his long ball looks like?

Horrible pro, but Jimmy Clausen used to throw a dream deep ball as far as beautiful arc/trajectory etc.

Good check with them and let me know.

And sorry I should correct my stat, it’s < 4.5 yds/completion.

Read and enjoy. And try to put your prejudice away for 5 minutes. I know, damn near impossible.

Leak had a great spiral but idk about great mechanics. He does this weird feet reshuffle when he made his decision and also brings the ball back over his head. It looks great but seems like a lot of load time. I'm no QB guru though.

Sweet, so when he was in college throwing to open receivers, he was good. I had no idea. My day will be so much better now, thanks.

I know his coaches didn’t even trust him last year. When they needed to win they put Fitzpatrick in. That’s what I know. I don’t pay attention to college football.
