Golf Accomplishments, or not accomplishments

Never have holed out from a bunker shot. Been close many times and making one is a goal of mine.

Never have hit my tee shot on the green on a par four. I haven’t played a lot of courses that have drivable par fours.

Zero aces.

Longest hole out was around 120 for an eagle.

No hole in one.
I’ve been close about three times - about a foot.
I’ve chipped in or putted in off the green about 8 or 9 times.
Missed a few from about 135 or so.
I witnessed a double eagle or albatross at number 18 at the island from about 235.
Played with a foursome and the chick called herself “you pussy” when she hit a bad shot.

Yes, I holed out a topped 7 wood last year.

- I've saved par over 1000 times from over 25 feet. Not a typo. Uncanny. Its just in my bag. I'm that guy you lose money to on a bullshite putt.
I do this now and then.

- I've fought on a golf course. Ole Miss guy. Friend and good dude but I took him for $300 on an excellent shot. If you saw the shot you'd give me some backslaps.

I 4 putted an eagle attempt.

My dad has an interesting one and he’s the got the score cards to prove it. He only shot in the 70’s 4 times but each of the four times he had the freak occurrence of holing out from the fairway (eagle—1 time on 18), ace (2 times), and making a double eagle (1 time). He claims to have shot 80 or 81 around 50 times in his life but really had trouble breaking through without divine intervention.

Played professionally for nearly a decade. Have 4 holes in one and 2 albatrosses.

Best 9 holes I ever shot (29) I was drunk. Played a morning round, shot 68 and won about $500. Drank for 2 hours and was coaxed back out for an emergency 9. Won $400 more off the same guys; they were PISSED.

Stood on the 18th tee needing a par to shoot 59; snapped it in the water, made double, and "settled" for a career-low 61.

Lowlight- didn't even finish the 1st hole in a pro tournament qualifier. Hit 2 balls in a row OB off the first tee and immediately withdrew.

I’m bad at golf, but my one and only “accomplishment” so far was a couple of weeks ago: I played my first round without losing a ball.

I've never made a hole in one. I've had several that ended up within 3-4" of the pin to the left or right, and one 8 iron that actually hit the pin on the fly and got rejected back into a water hazard.

My longest hole out is from 160. Webb Park #7. To save Triple Bogey...

My best legitimate round in competition is 80. I'll regularly shoot upper 80s/low 90s with friends each week.

I have a self taught swing and have never taken a lesson. At this point, my swing would have to be completely rebuilt I feel.

I'm a club ho with a problem, and I regularly play irons that I have no business playing and above my skill level. But frick they look good in the bag.

I've had 2 hole in ones, 15 years apart with the recent one in Dec 2020.

Once made 5 straight birdies in a round.

Never had a double eagle, and havent made an eagle in over 10 years.

In my early 20's, played a US Am qualifier and shot 96 on my 2nd 18 after posting 77 on the first 18. Got a letter from the USGA barring me from future qualifiers until I could prove a handicap to play competitively enough.

One Hole in one at Fort Bend CC in Richmond tx.

One Double Eagle at Thrash Park in Sulphur La.

While a member at Fort Bend CC, I eagled 3 par 5s, 2 par 4s and the hole in one, meaning that I eagled 6 of the 18 holes.

Biggest accomplishment, I stepped on the head of a huge water moccasin at Houston National and lived to tell about it....
