re: What was PM's thinking for pulling good pitching too early last night?

This early in the season, I suspect he is trying to figure out who will be his "go to" guys in the bullpen. Throw them out there and see what they got. The real season begins next week. I am not a great PM fan and I realize the SEC is brutal, especially the west side. I have to wonder if PM is at a point where he is treading water and thinking about retirement, albeit the days of LSU dominating SEC baseball is a thing of the past. It is now a brutal league and we need a dynamic coach.
