No child in America should go hungry. The American Rescue Plan will extend and invest in critical food programs to help ensure every family gets the food they need.

Perhaps this sentiment should have been considered BEFORE ending 10's of thousands of their parents jobs with the stroke of a pen.

This is so fricking transparent.

Existential problem A must never happen! So we will spend your money on Government solution B, from which we, the political insiders, will get rich, and knowing that you have such short attention spans we have utter confidence that no one will ever even ask us how the money was spent.

When was the last time a child died of hunger or malnutrition in America that wasn’t caused by extreme neglect from their parents/guardian?

So they’re going to continue and expand a program started by the Trump administration while acting as if they created it?

How very democrat of them.

People should be required to illustrate examples when they bring up this subject in the US.

Obesity is a bigger problem in America than starvation.

Joe's going to have to be ready to answer these tough questions at his next press conference.

what kind of bullshite source is that? We literally had Michelle Obama make it her mission to combat obesity among the poor via the school lunch programs.

So we don’t have an obesity epidemic among lower socio-economic class children?

Has anybody born after 1980 EVER seen a starving child in this country? Not talking neglect but how it is presented here by Biden.

I volunteer with the food bank and with a homeless shelter... I often pick up food that is going out of date from trader Joe's and drop it off.

If you saw the amount of food that food bank and shelters waste, you'd be floored! There's tremendous supply, and a little effort would allow anyone to be able to feed their children well.

If there was a better distribution program, valready the parents put a little effort in, I can promise you no one would go hungry

cool
No child should be killed in a drive by either.
No child should act like a shithead in school with no repercussions.
No child should be roaming around breaking into cars on a school night at midnight.

Our "poor" have an obesity problem, not a starvation problem.

C'mon Joe just add a $250 Grocery store gift card to the stimulus check. It's just money...

Well spending 90% of a bill on not helping Americans doesn’t help now does it?

I really believe, before I die, we will see the American left try to take over the food industry the way they tried to take over healthcare; by using the "fundamental human rights" argument.
