Completely agree. The left would have you thinking 50 percent is liberal. Nah. Hence the fraud. Most people love freedom and our country.

They are not half the population. That's the ruse they want you to believe.

Companies know also, but many are being pressured into making public statements. We, as conservatives, need to continue to let them know with both our comments AND our money that they're gonna pay a price for publicly jumping into the political world!
Chik-fil-a comes to mind as a company who didn't bow to the liberal loudmouths. They ended up having the single biggest day of sales when we were supposed to boycott them. My local branch, ran out of chicken that day! You'd think a CEO or the board of a Fortune 500 company would realize that the SJW shite doesn't put cash in the register.
Absolutely! I honestly believe that more companies are gonna start realizing that the power is NOT in the hands of the loudest, but the silent majority!

I try to do the same thing. Since my vote didn't make a difference at the pills maybe this is what is left to do.

I refuse to associate with progressives. I used to try but I can’t be bothered anymore.

Agreed. Since last year, I’ve cut out NASCAR, NFL, college football, canceled Netflix, stop buying Levi’s, and started using Duck Duck Go. If I go out to eat, I try to go to locally-owned restaurants.

It's almost impossible to avoid all of it, but I've boycotted a lot if woke companies.

Excellent

I wish somebody could put together a list.

The problem with boycotting is you hurt people that you don’t intend to.

But this is the time to send messages

Am I being too petty?
No. Many of those progressives have no problems calling for boycotts of conservative owned businesses simply because the business owner was photographed at a Trump really.

I’ve been avoiding them for a while. Nobody likes it when people are being preachy, sanctimonious, and melodramatic. It sucks the fun right out of the room and is draining to be around.

Are you REALLY comparing the folks who sat in on lunch counters to modern day SJW's/Antifi/BLM?
I'm saying politics has always been in business. And I explicitly said this current crop is shitty.

These folks burn, riot, murder, beat up and cancel
folks who even think about disagreeing with em.
What do you think happened to folks who disagreed with segregation? Might want to read up a bit.

Did you see the guy ice skating in NYC who got beat up for simply wearing a MAGA hat and waving a Trump flag? Did you see the other folks cheering him on?
I didn't, but I believe it and it's despicable. Did you see what happened in Mississippi in 1964?

You don't believe in free speech and now a Democratic/Marxist member of Congress wants to establish "Truth Commissions" but these folks are EXACTLY like the freedom riders in the South?
wut

Do you not understand how absurd you sound?
I understand how misguided the straw man you have attributed to me is, yes.

JC. I have never seen so many companies come forward with major political statements like we have seen in the last couple years. It just didn’t happen. You are just arguing in bad faith and being disingenuous
Whether or not it was as overt as it might be now (especially with social media and all) it is a fantasy to pretend that politics hasn't always been a crucial aspect of business.

Same thing with "keep the politics out of sports". It's ALWAYS been in sports. Hell, half the rivalries in the country have political origins (KS vs MO, e.g.)

Unfortunately it is the climate of our country.

I will avoid openly liberal, progressive businesses. I don't need people throwing their political and social opinions in my face.

I avoid my very best friend because he is calling people we grew up with racists and he knows full well they are not. I don't get any of his social messaging any longer.

I am confused why he is comparing Jim Crow LAWS that were overturned through activism to changing social norms that are being mandated by giant corporations and MSM group think

I'm very aware of the fact that segregation was required by law for a number of years. However, don't let that elide the truth.

To take a specific, famous example, the Woolworth lunch counter in Greensboro was not segregated by law - it was due to a private company responding very directly to the political preferences of its customers. SJWs decided to push back against this political act of business with a political act of their own - and it led to a national movement.

BS...you need to get your pea brain out of what happened +50 years ago to what you and your kind believe is happening today. For what it's worth..I don't believe anything done to Trump folks is despicable to you or your ilk.
