Covid vaccine symptoms

I’m due for my 2nd shot Monday and I’m getting on a plane Wednesday. I’ve heard some horror stories about feeling like shite for up to 72 hours.
Anybody have some input on the symptoms for the Moderna after the second shot?

It's not a live culture but I have heard of people feeling like crap for 24-48 hours after 1st shot.

Not sure about the moderna specifically because i received the pfizer, but i was extremely fatigued and nauseaous. Also, arm was 5x times more sore with the second shot. try and find some zofran for the nausea if you can, only thing that gave me any relief

Pfizer—sore deltoid. Usually the drama queens have symptoms after the second shot because it’s been put in their head. I drank a few IPA’s after the second shot and couldn’t tell if I was slightly tired the next day due to a few beers or because of covid shot. Was fine by noon that day.

I know two folks that have had it, both over 70. One is my mother. Neither had any issues.

For me 12 hours after second vaccine I became febrile up to 104F muscle aches joint aches , delirious through the night taking Tylenol and Motrin when I had the strength to get up. Slept 12 hours the next day. Next day fine.
For those 12 hours it was wayyy worse than having the flu.

Supposedly the younger you are the worse your symptoms because their immune systems respond quicker. Everyone is different though. It runs the gamut from no side effects to being out of work for up to four days.

My shoulder hurts like someone hit me with a sledge hammer. My triceps burned for 3 hours. I got my 2nd one today

My parents got their second Moderna dose yesterday. No side effects at all.

Only had the first shot (moderna) but woke up shivering uncontrollably, nauseous and congested. That lasted about 4 hours then done. Felt fine after that. It was worse than when I had corona. Arm was sore for a couple days too. A little worried to get the second.

Had my second moderna shot yesterday. Got jack for sleep due to sore arm. Tired today but that's been it.
