re: NCAA Clarifies rules on chop blocks

They call the helmet-to-helmet penalty too literally. It was regularly called last year when the person initiating the contact placed his facemask right in the other guy's sternum (or upper arm), and the hittee's head flopped over and their helmets touched. That ain't right. This horse-collar rule could turn out to be similarly overused.

I watched a replay of the LSU/Auburn game last night and you retards should look at the "chop block" in real time. What a joke that such a big deal has been made about this
I don't care what speed you watch it in, li'l john, that was an illegal block. Everyone and his grandmother knows it. Dorsey was engaged with another blocker. Ramsey went straight for his knee. That's illegal. No two ways around it.
As for that referee, he needs to be out of the referee business before someone gets crippled. Dorsey's damned lucky he wasn't seriously hurt.
I'm sure if the tables were turned you'd be whining like a seven-year-old girl.

You flame. If no one replies to your last comment, you continue to bump the thread until you get someone fired up. That is the definition of flaming. Keep it up and an admin is going to pull you to the side.

Chaz owned both linemen with the exception of the Dorsey "chunk him" play which, by the way, occured in the 1st quarter and the VICIOUS chop was late in the 3rd quarter. I guess the retribution argument goes down the tubes on that one
So if Chaz gets chopped a year later, it can't be because of retribution. Good to know.

bigjohn39211 why dont you shut the hell up. Dorsey and everyone else owned Ramsey's arse all game. How many ref's is Tubby taking to dinner after the game this year. You are ao f***ing typical why LSU doesnt like AU fans. You are about as dillusional as the gumps.

Fact: That was an illegal chop block and a penalty should have been assessed against Lee Ziemba for 15 yards.
Fact: If Tubby had disciplined his team for purposefully trying to hurt another player the same thing wouldn't have happened in your bowl game against Clemson and your team wouldn't have been assessed a 15 yard penalty during that game.
Fact: Those weren't SEC officials working the Chick-Fil-A Bowl so they were able to get the call right.

Go watch a replay of the game BIG BOY Dorsey, a top 5 NFL draft pick could only push Ramsey in the backfield ONCE during the whole game By the way, Ramsey was a true freshmen straight out of high school against the big boy and still held his own plus a couple of pancakes

First LSU fan I have ever seen that knows Ziemba missed the assignment, not Ramsey. You my friend are wise
