WE lose Aranda after 3 seasons to a HC job and Venables has been highly successful at Clemson for 8 or 9 years now. He has got to be getting offers for HC positions. Would be nice to not have to keep rotating in coordinators but seems if we get a good asst coach we dont have them for long.

Simple, he doesn’t want to be a HC

He doesn’t seem to have a strong desire to be a head coach. Dabo promotes family first & Brent is just as religious as Dabo. He’s in a perfect situation

Some people prefer comfort as opposed to attacking new challenges.

And money and his sons go to Clemson

Are you watching this game? Venables feeds off of Sunbelt level competition all year. Aranda was better and proved it during last years playoff run. Dunno why people worship Brett Venables on this board.

I've seen it mentioned in the past that he interviewed for a HC job a years ago and came off as a fricking retard and really put the administrators off at said school

He has only been good in that shite league called the ACC. Put him against good teams week in week out and he is average.

He is the most overhyped DC in the country.

Simple, they provide him when an army on analysts to steal signs. He knows if he leaves he may not be able to recreate that.

Ever thank back now that it's out how every blitz they called last second against us last year during first quarter seemed to be the perfect play? Then suddenly they looked lost?? Reason for that. frick BV!!!
