Friend of mine's trashy ho of a sister got sent there when her parents couldn't control her any more. It didn't take and she's still a trasy ho.

LSMSA is great for the kid from a rural or small town who has the potential to go to an elite college but whose school doesn't offer the necessary courses to prepare them. If you're from BR, NOLA, and probably Shreveport or Laffy, you can get that without leaving home, unless you just want the boarding school experience.

It’s also great for the kids who didn’t grow up with money and their parents can’t afford to send them somewhere to get a top tier education.

A lot of very smart kids miss out on a lot of opportunities in this state because their parents can’t afford to send them to a private school or move to a district with a decent public school

A girl I went to middle school with got caught stealing from the Acadiana Mall. Her parents sent her to Sacred Heart boarding school for high school. Pretty sure she had a kid out of wedlock and isn't really "killing it" at this life thing

Grand Coteau has had that rep for a long time. A few girls I went to school with ended up there after our nuns kicked them out. I met someone this fall that graduated from there two years ago. She had no idea that it was known for attempting to control the wild ones, but responded with, “Yeah, I could definitely see that!”
