Brian Pillman, Jr. will be on Dynamite next week as part of a tag team with part of the team name being "Blondes"
now where have I seen Pillman & Blondes together before?
ETA: the team is Pillman, Jr. & Griff Garrison as the Varsity Blondes... taking on FTR

Fun fact: I was at that PPV. Uncensored 1997. North Charleston Coliseum. I was on the second level, about 5 rows up directly behind the camera. My family member and I noticed some crew members walking up prior to the main event to the scaffolding. Pretty sure that was the first time Sting did the ring drop.

I don't remember that move at all. What was it?

It is a powerbomb into a turnbuckle IIRC.
A powerbomb is dangerous enough. Vader hurt people occasionally when doing it right while DLo slipped and accidentally paralyzed Droz.
Doing one into a turnbuckle is fricking stupid because hitting the ropes wrong can frick you all up. Referee Tommy Young had to retire because of neck injuries caused by taking a bad bump into the ropes.

I've often wondered why Sting agreed to that spot in 2015 (I think it was).....I'm certain he had never taken that move before, but I get at the time (and even through as recently as not that long ago before Nia Jax got it banned by killing Kairi almost) it was a hot move....but still at that point in your career with little of it left it is a risk that I think a lot of legends wouldn't take.
shite....they are saying now that Sting's angle in AEW won't include any bumps. Sting is going to turn into what Arn Anderson is doing in AEW is my bet....hard to see those guys that could really work at one time go that route, but it is what it is. However, I wonder if Sting's first appearance on AEW TV will be the pinnacle of the rest of his career.

Sting is the perpetual company man and went along with a lot of stuff that damaged him professionally and physically as a result.
He was the main WCW guy Vince never had then they shite the bed with him and crippled him.

How cool is that?
So I went to your room and read your diary:

buckle bomb followed by super kick
ETA: in fact... here's it is injuring Sting
and here it is injuring Finn Balor (not to the turnbuckle... but same premise)
and here's Nia Jax almost murdering Kairi Sane with another version of it

The other night I stopped surfing channels long enough to watch a few minutes of Dynamite and Jericho was wrestling someone. That dude has chunked up, I almost didn't recognize him.

Is Seth Rollins the common factor in those three men's injuries?
Nia shouldn't do a lot of things on tv...like appear on tv.

only 2 of the 3 are injuries
to my knowledge Dolph wasn't injured in the buckle bomb I originally posted... that was just showing what a buckle bomb was
my completely ignorant medical opinion on the injuries...
Sting - hit way too low on the turnbuckle and his head snapped back causing the spinal injury... perhaps Seth couldn't hold him up and throw him as far as wanted b/c Sting is a big dude
Finn - Balor turned too much to brace himself against the guardrail and he came up short and jammed his shoulder... which caused the dislocation
Nia - just a careless bitch

If Pullman had lived, him and Austin could have had a Trilogy series. The attitude era would have been great for him. Pulling the gun was great imo.
Austin eventually was so over that anyone connected to him that much would have had all eyes on them too. Was weird to have his widow on live right after he died

Some of the best moments in my childhood would be flipping between WCW and WWF during the Monday Night wars. An added bonus in the video with Jim Ross on commentary as well.

I have several wcw nitros recorded and I would flip over during the commercials.

Went to Nitro in 97 in the Arena. My buddy sat ringside. He still has his chair.
