I reverse DDT’d so many neighborhood rivals on the trampoline as a kid... that was such a ruthless move. Surprised i didn’t paralyze anyone

Sting was my favorite as well. I haven't watched wrestling in a very long time, but didn't Sting and Ultimate Warrior team up for a little while and just wreck shop in WCW?

Or am I just completely making that up?

They came up together as a tag team. Started off as Flash to warriors Justice in power team usa, they later became the blade runners and flash became sting and justice became rock. They worked territories together but went their separate ways in 86.

Id have rather listened to Jim Cornette (in character) than Tony.

May not have been 100% his fault. Feel like id have liked it more had it just been tony and the brain. Ross and King got better when Vince gtfo..But brain and tony didn't really respect each other much, and I take Bobby's side.

I was a New York fan from beginning to end. Atlanta was always sub par in production (which was ironic). They had 1 storyline, and an organic star they had no idea how to use. And everything suffered. Maybe a kind of "well i don't want to listen to you talk about shite that i dont want to see."

They should have given the cruiserweights, lucha, and etc a separate show on Thursday. Pushed them hard.

Have them integrate just sometimes..Instead of pushing the same stars into two shows. That show would have had its own fans

Eh, WWE actually did this recently and literally no one watches. And the Lucha and cruisers had almost as much to do with Nitros success as the nwo. They intentionally put them on at the end of the first hour because they knew people wouldn't flip over as Raw started because of how high energy they were. And the ratings reflected that.

Not to mention all the future stars that came from it like Jericho and Rey.

I feel like it would have worked back then and saved wcw. Back then, being the key.. Had Benoit, Jericho, Rey, Malenko, Guerrero, Japanese wrestlers and a lot of the "mid card" and even lower card guys that needed a shot at the time like Helms, Candido and talented guys we never saw..given their own platform, would have been a whole new kind of show. Vince would have had double the competition. 100% needed different creative writing it though. Keeping eric, hogan, nash and other short sighted
bookers away from it when it eventually and inevitably got more over than nitro. Especially if established guys from WWF would make their way there too. Like Xpac or Owen Hart.

Hell, it would have given nitro room to breathe and grow beyond world orders..IF, they had the brains to run a longterm successful wrestling organization.

Id have liked to have seen that show though, in the 90s. Ran by guys who gave a shite about the business.

I’ve been going to shows since I was 2. Saw sting at the rapides coliseum a ton. My favorite match I’ve seen live was at Monday night raw in Lafayette rick flair vs Vinny Mac in a hardcore match. They both got color and it was crazy they were both at least 60 beating the hell out of each other.

One memory I had was sting vs cactus jack in a lights out match and while jack was beating the crap out of sting he hogs a loogie about 15 ft high and caught in his mouth then beat the hell out of sting. It was great. Also sixpac always came out to kung fu fighting.
