I can understand tradition and sentiment...but I've got to tell ya', when I go to Past Time and get pizza...and I LOVE pizza...I can kick my self in the arse afterward for not getting a better meal by ordering a damn po-boy.

if there's two pizzas I have eaten the most, it's the Passtimes and Johnnny's - 1st and 2nd in my order.

Anyway, it's a good thing I don't eat with your mouth and visa versa. Imagine someone liking a pizza you don't!

Best po-boy you could find in this whole state was in monroe?

Why do the S. La snobs think you can't get good, well anything, in N La? I am seriously interested in hearing. My parents live in S'port and I have traveled LA extensively. The food there is as good as anywhere I have had in this state. Been to all 50 states and 37 countries. Just because you pay $100 a plate doesn't make it better. I lived in the Chamonix valley in France for 18 months. Again, just because it's expensive, foreign, big city certainly doesn't make it better.

I am talking specifically about po-boy shops on this one my man. There are probably over 100 or so po-boy shops in N.O. and considering the po-boy was invented there, I would think one would probably find a better sandwhich there.
I am willing to bet that Bears in Covington and a few places in BR are better than the one that was referenced in Monroe.

Haha.....ok, I agree totally there. Haven't had a N. La po boy and probably wouldn't try it. In North La, it's all about subs, even they are mostly chains.

I pass by that place every day and it always calls my name. Pretty good place with a few neat toppings.
