Going for a few days to visit family, here's what I have so far. I'm still wanting a good steak and ramen option?
Food
- Furama, imperial la-mian, daebak, friistyle, al's beef, lou malnati's
Activities
- field museum, art institute, museum of science and industry, skydeck vs 360, millenium and grant park

Im pretty sure the downtown location is closed right now but Toni is my favorite spot for breakfast or brunch. Amazing crepes.

When are you going? Indoor dining was just shutdown.

Architectural boat tour is pretty awesome, I’m aware that it doesn’t sound awesome
ETA: Au Cheval burger is fantastic too, not sure what their status is with COVID though

Just got back from Chicago this past weekend. Most indoor stuff is closed. Some bars in wrigleyville are getting away with opening a window and letting people sit inside by it, which most bars in wrigleyville were open. All of downtown was dead, navy pier was closed (not sure if that is a seasonal or covid thing). We did take out lou malnatis for deep dish and it was very good. Pequiods is my favorite there though.

Wife & I loved Gibson's
We were very disappointed in the RPM restaurants (Italian & steak).
As someone else mentioned, the architectural boat tour was fantastic, although it sounds like it would be really boring
Edit: You didn't ask, but we really liked Viaggio's for italian

another vote for the architectural boat tour!
the art institute has a neat brochure that allows you to follow the paintings that were in ferris bueller
and we have lou malnati's and other deep dish pizza places here in arizona, so we tried piece brewery for new haven style. didn't regret it. it's in wicker park and you can people watch all the hipsters.
also rode bikes for a while along the lakefront trail. may be too cold for that now, but we went in summer. summertime in chicago is a total joy.
