I believe with the talent on this team we will have a better record than last year. I think this team will put games away and not let teams hang in.

I think we could end up having a better record this year, but there are a lot of things that could happen. The only game I see LSU losing is at Florida. USC, Auburn, and Georgia could all end up beating LSU as well, but finishing 11-1 would not surprise me.

Better than 9-3: Excellent

9-3: Acceptable

Worse than 9-3: Unacceptable.

This is the way I envision our schedule. We have four extremely easy OOC games. There is no excuse for losing any of those games given our level of talent. Hence, we start with a presumption of 4-0.

That leaves the eight SEC games. In order to finish 9-3 overall, we have to go 5-3 in the SEC. That is only one game over five hundred.

Going 4-4 or worse in the SEC with our talent really is inexcusable.

The goal should be the same: 11-1 in the regular season. Not likely, but not necessarily improbable either. When it comes to championship games, whatever happens happens. You can't predict that.

On the TD home page I checked 11-1. I don't think that is delusional. I honestly think this team can get it done.

I know what you mean, but it's actually two games over 500.

I see us dropping two of the three against Florida, Georgia and Auburn. I hope I am wrong but I am trying to prepare myself mentally and emotionally for that to happen. It's almost impossible to beat Lowder's refs on the Plains and the Swamp is tough as nails as well. I hope I am wrong. South Carolina makes me a little nervous as well. I know damn good and well Spurrier hasn't forgotten that fake FG and Miles and Peveto yukking it up on the sideline.
