I remember when they went to the registered user system in 2003-2004. Most of us set up multiple profiles as alters.

I had three profiles and one is in the "500's".
My original name was Spawn of Saban but I nixed it when he left.

Most of the original people have moved on.
Frankly, I'm surprised this site has lasted as long as it has.

Didn't you have your actual face as your avatar back in the day? I think I congratulated you at one of the TD tailgates for being the only poster to do that. I guess it didn't last long--don't want this crew recognizing you in public.

Yeah I did. I thought it was an LSU website akin to Facebook or MySpace, and was also REALLY naive. I didn’t have a grasp or appreciation for the depth, breadth and depravity of the internet at that time. Naive, I know

I still keep up with various buds I made at LSU via this website, it’s not all bad. I did have to take some time off after college to actually build a life and career, this place knew too much which was my own fault. But even when I didn’t post I checked the OT first for sources of info for local topics, hurricanes, the flood, etc. It’s very reliable for that.

Chicken and many of the founding folks are good people, I enjoy seeing them every few years at a football game.

Yep - I miss those 5:30am beers and grillades. We've moved spots and pushed back times a little with kids, but the cooking is the same...when we tailgate. And the fog is now in my head instead of on the grass.

Chicken's goal was to create the #1 LSU site on the internet, and he ended up creating one of the top overall forums.
