I expect improvement this year and then mass coaching changes next year. I’m really surprised at the re-emerging hate for Orgeron. It’s really hard to understand at this point.

I agree, but I also think Pelini will get things turned around. Linehan will be the only change

Agreed. Sometimes shite doesn't work out. What I cannot excuse is the lack of effort. If he can't get that changed then he deserves every bit of criticism.

Are you watching the games? Are you listening to the post game conferences? What do you not understand?

Orgeron is an arse-clown who caught lightning in a bottle last year.

When your players aren't giving effort that's 100% on coaching.

We went from a cerebral highly intelligent d coordinator to a guy yelling at his players after each busted play who refuses to adjust coverages. Regardless of your philosophy on coaching thats going to be a shock to a lot of players systems and their mentality as a defense.

Also frick Bo Pelini

It's several things.

1)This team isn't just not good. It's the worst LSU team since the 1990's.

2)His hires and attitude since the championship reek of someone who has no idea why his teams were good. From shots at Aranda and comments about how awesome Pelini and the 4-3 is, to saying Ensminger ran most of the offense last year. Everyone not looking through P&G glasses knew those hires were awful. And if you go back and look at the three biggest pieces of the national title, Aranda, Brady, Joe, all three were either forced on O or fell in his lap.

3) Aranda left. Aranda was not only the D-coordinator but the associate HC. A lot of people suspected Aranda was propping O up for at least the first few years of his tenure. Providing the program with planning, discipline, strategy. Now it's a coincidence that when he leaves, O's first year without him, we look like Ole Miss during O's years there?

We have an OC who cant and doesn't call plays on 3rd down or in the red zone. he couldn't, can't, and didn't install the offense

Would you hire E to be the OC anywhere? does that sound like an OC? what is hard to understand?

O is a dline coach
E is a te coach at best

O let 2 great coaches get away that he should have done everything to keep, and I'm not talking about aranda and Brady.

You really don't see a problem with him completely whiffing on the hires of Canada and Pelini so badly that both will probably be gone after a year? Not even mentioning Esminger and Linehan. He can't just get second chances every time on huge hires busting immediately.

That's O's failure.

It's not hate. It's criticism because he created this shite-show with his coaching hires. In the corporate world you're only as good as your last quarter.

No one expected a repeat of 2019. Most reasonable fans expected a few losses and some growing pains. These aren't growing pains because we aren't "growing."
If anything, Mizzou is worse than Moo U. We've had a few missing players return.

O deserves every bit of criticism. This is his program. Yelling "lets go" from the sideline" and "1-2-3 LSU Tigers go to war" ain't coaching.

It will be fun calling all these idiots like Salmon out when we win big again. Start making your list.

Not sure why we're so bad. I really hope that politics is not the reason, with the team being mostly black athletes. If politics are the case, I don't think it can be fixed by O.

But I digress. If politics were the reason wouldn't we be getting lots of de-commitments from recruits?

And yes, O needs to make sure Pelini worked out before taking shots at Aranda. That was stupid of him.

I liked the O hire and he obviously deserves time to fix all this. Won't cost us Jimbo or Tom Herman $$$ if O can't fix it. Guess Urban Meyer is our next HC, right?

He will get his chance to turn it around so we will see. But other than Brady he has not made the best coordinator decisions and there is serious cause for alarm.

The vitriol is not surprising. People who were not sold on O before were just waiting for a stumble so they could re-emerge and call for his firing. It's what happens with fan bases. We get upset and let out the frustration by calling for everyone's head. The time frame for "what have you done for me lately" has shortened significantly. These people weren't calling for O's head when they were singing "We are the Champions" in January.

Everyone will have their own statistics to prove any point they want. What I've seen is someone who has grown and developed and made the changes he needed to make when he needed to make them. Based on what I've seen, I expect more adjustments and changes until he gets it right. I think it's early to speculate on coaching changes in the off season. We have 7 more games in front of us. It would be smart to work with your staff to do what needs to be done first. Then at the end of the year if it's still not working you hand out the pink slips.
