I was at a place that serves food and alcohol and they said they would serve past 10:00pm unless someone shuts them down.

I've had to deal with the inspectors a few times. They will completely have the option to suspend their business license. I get everyone's feelings on this but a poor decision can lead to their employees not having jobs

Oh shut the frick up. Do you not realize how utterly stupid this move was by JBE with what he did by doing a pretend move to phase 3, but actually putting more restrictions on restaurants and the bars that had been operating just fine as restaurants in phase 2?
All of them were allowed to serve past 10:00PM and there were no issues.

Our country was designed so as not to be put under the thumb of any one person. These exec orders have been abused by nearly every single politician in authority including the Republicans.
Can you imagine if Trump had made a national edict restricting which businesses can open and masks for kids in school and all this other arbitrary bullshite? The media would melt. But local pols do it and they are cheered on.

Don’t know why he won’t let everyone know the name of the bar so it can be patronized. I’m not wasting my time driving around LSU to look for a bar that’s open after 10pm. Just don’t understand the secrecy.

If the bar owner just tells his regulars he's not stopping serving at 10:00 and still does some good business without getting reported it's kind of a win.

Get word out to stop electing Democrats who want to force big government on the population. They're all about overreaching boundaries in hopes you'll eventually start relying on their tit.
tbh, the restrictions are kinda silly. You don't need restrictions if people would stop being dumbasses. That's how you slow the spread. Don't be a dumbass. Cases are inevitable there's nothing you can do to stop it so long as people are educated and take precaution, you defeat it this way. At the same time you don't put businesses under with your stringent bullshite restrictions. All parties happy. Businesses can business and the spread is still being slowed. Asymptomatic people is just something that has to be dealt with and that's dealt with minimizing it through precaution assuming you have it each time you go out even if you don't have symptoms.
