The one thing I never understood on these 2000s models Kenner’s is why the didn’t put trim tabs on them. I know you can add them, but the fact that they didn’t come from the factory with tabs gives me a “cheap boat” thought in my head....just my opinion

I have a 21v. I agree they don’t need them as much as some of the other 21s I’ve been in but every boat benefits from tabs and I wish I had some on mine. This is still a steal but I think this is the tunnel model, I think they are pretty slow on the top end.

I have a 23v. While they would always help, it doesn't need them.

I fish a mix of people, proped Right I have no issues hauling lard and getting up. If they’re hippos, I will ask two to move upfront until we are underway. Bought a set of lencos for $100 and have yet to install due to the beotch Laura.

I also had an 18v for a while without trim tabs, and it didn't need them either.

Stepdad got a 1994 Kenner 16 when I was 9... Damn fine boat and ran like a banshee with a 90 yamaha 2 stroke...very solid, no frills fishing machine
That sucker will get SKINNY in the marsh (8 inches)
and can make the turn through Caminada into Elmer's surf in a chop Fishes 3 very well and does ok with 4... thinking about a re-power soon with a 70 4 stroke... motors are getting kinda heavy for that boat
But yea, Kenner boats are the freaking tits... I would love a clean 21(wouldnt we all), but a 70 zuke is way cheaper
