Got a random text from the "Texas Dems" asking for support. I asked about their stance on illegal immigration. They sent me this :

Biden supports securing our border, while ensuring the dignity of migrants and upholding their legal right to seek asylum. He will enforce our laws without targeting communities, violating due process, or tearing apart families. He will ensure our values are squarely at the center of our immigration and enforcement policies. He does not support illegal immigration.

How should I respond??

Respond with:
“If he does not support illegal immigration, then he should state so publicly the next time he leaves his basement”

You can ask them what made him change his mind from the primary where he favored open borders and free health care for illegals.

"That's a nice summary of President Trump's policy, but I asked to hear Candidate Biden's."

Tell em their statement is both for and against illegal immigration and therefore for and against open borders and makes no sense

They’re lying as usual

They do know that that's exactly what Obama and Biden did with kids in cages, right?

“You know those “cages” that the media says are housing immigrant children were built by the Obama/Biden admin, right?”

Ask them where they stand on providing illegal immigrants medical care, welfare, or any other government assistance.

That should do it.

I'd ask why his stance has changed since he was VP. He didn't mind it back in the Good ol do nothing Obama days

Migrants don’t have a legal right to seek asylum. Only refugees have that right, and only if they meet one of 5 specific grievances outlines by international treaties. And 95% of people crossing our southern border do not meet any of those grievances.
