beach/pool/bike rides/tennis/pickle ball/stand up paddle boards/golf/etc.

just got back - ate at Bud & Alley's and Roux 30A. Both were nice.

Beach and pool was packed on Friday, but much smaller crowd on Saturday (that's move out day for all the beach house rentals)

Great Southern Cafe is very good. Reservations were required(no exceptions) when I went in May.

Barefoot BBQ is a must(on Airstream row) in Seaside.

Sit outside of the Wine Bar in WC and people watch. Pizza is good as are many other things on the menu.

Fish Out of Water in the WC Inn is good but expensive. Sit on the deck only.

We didn't get out a whole lot. Large extended family and a half dozen kids with us, so no point, we wouldn't enjoy it anyway. One night we walked over to this Hub place, and they had a stage with music going, and several food shops. We didn't stick around long because it was after sunset, and not well lit. Eating on a picnic table in near dark with a few adults and several kids, it was hard to find a spot to sit.

Plenty to do at the condos with the pools and beach, neither got really crowded. It was a fun week just cooking in the condo and taking kids out a couple times a day. I don't remember Florida being that hot before, and we used to spend a good amount of time in Destin every summer when my parents had a place there. Like 90+ early in the morning. Good thing is it didn't get much hotter than that, but I remember mornings being high 70s then getting into the low 90s by afternoon, but this heat just stuck around all day. Not much rain to cool things off last week either.
