Louisiana has been open for almost 5 weeks and we have seen no increase at all

Places seeing “surges”, simply never had an initial wave that everywhere has to get

Apply your logic to states that have been open for well over a month. Georgia for example.

Okay, Texas fits this and we’re seeing a big surge.

The idea that this could be the surge we initially prevented but only postponed could be true, so we will see in the next couple weeks.

Its the only logical reason Texas is surging and not other states like Louisiana and Ohio

Unless you are telling me we are handling being open so much more responsibly

I sincerely don't care anymore about any numbers spewed at me about COVID19.
Once Johns Hopkins, etc. told me it's more important to protest en masse than to worry about COVID19, it was crystal clear their message to everyone for this entire pandemic.
In fact, I will forever question the ulterior motives Johns Hopkins will have when a "suggestion" is given to us for our health.

No I agree. I only brought up Texas because he brought up Georgia without saying that part. Texas shut down before shite hit the fan so the idea that we only postponed it seems most likely to me.

Based on our antibody testing, and other places as well, it seems places level off once infection rate of the population nears 10%

Which is way lower than what we thought, so there is something about natural immunity of sorts with this virus we haven’t figured out yet

Time to focus on "institutional racism". I don't know what that is, but it sounds bad.
Wear a mask to prevent the spread. If you turn pale it may have become systemic!

Idk, but I feel with the nature of my job mixed with moving cities I would’ve had it by now. Antibody test was negative though.

They’re also testing in a more robust manner.

My wife is a nurse, I have been working directly at the hospital scanning covid tests, and due to us both still working both of my toddlers have been going to daycare

We both tested negative for antibodies and we are in Nola. Makes no logical sense

And to understand my level of ppe, I wore my mask upside down for the first weeks working at the hospital and nobody freaking told me. My wife finally did when she saw a picture

Yeah I’ve been in and out of stores all over Dallas and now Austin and only started wearing a mask in mid/late April when stores started requiring them for entry. Wore the same disposable one inside out for 2 months until I just bought a fabric one over the weekend.

Plus my hands are always in my face or I’m biting my nails, etc.
